Itinerary:

Day 1: (Luang Namtha - Soptud - Sopsim - Huaylued)
- 9:00 am: Meet your guide and driver at the office for introductions and a visit to the morning market for supplies.
- Kayaking Start: Receive a brief tutorial on paddling techniques and safety before beginning your journey on calm waters.
- Sop Tud Village: Stop to visit the Lanten people (known for indigo dyeing and paper making), meet locals, and learn about their culture.
- Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch on the riverbank.
- Afternoon Paddle: Navigate through rapids and whitewater surrounded by mountains, visiting Khmu people en route.
- Evening: Arrive at Ban Huaylued for an overnight stay in an eco-lodge next to the river.
Day 2: (Huaylued - Hatyong - Sinoudom - Hat Naleng)
- Morning: Wake to the sounds of village life and enjoy a warm Lao breakfast.
- Morning Paddle: Continue downriver past exquisite lands and secondary jungle.
- Village Visits: Stop at the delightful Khmu village of Ban Hatyong and the Lao boat village of Ban Sinoudom.
- Lunch: Have a scenic riverside picnic.
- Afternoon Paddle: Navigate through several dramatic rapids, arriving at Hat Naleng village around 3:30 pm.
- Return: Your driver will meet you and bring you back to the city.
Note: The best time for kayaking is from June to November. Low water levels from December to May may make kayaking challenging.
