Itinerary:

Day 1: Ban Prang to Ban Nam Khouy. Approximately 4-5 hours
09:00 AM: Meet your tour guide for a briefing and depart from the office or your hotel.

Visit the morning market to gather food supplies.

Explore the Khmu village of Ban Prang and learn about Khmu culture and traditions.

Hike from Ban Prang to Ban Nam Khouy, enjoying the natural beauty of Nam Ha NPA.

Stop to forage for edible vegetation and prepare a picnic lunch using jungle methods like banana leaves and bamboo pipes.

03:00 PM: Arrive at the Lahu village of Ban Nam Khouy. Explore the village, enjoy the viewpoint before sunset, and learn about Lahu culture and traditions.

Note: No toilets are available; bathing is done at a nearby stream.
Day 2: Ban Nam Khouy to Ban Prang. Approximately 4-5 hours
After breakfast, trek through the primary forest, enjoying the nature of Nam Ha NPA.

Learn about edible vegetation, herbs, animal habits, and jungle survival skills.

Prepare lunch using jungle methods during the trek.

Enjoy an easy two-hour downhill walk to Ban Prang, where a driver will shuttle you back to Luang Namtha.
