Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Ban Prang-Ban Nam Khouy. Approx. 4-5 hours daily

    Briefing at 09:00am, depart for the morning market to gather food supplies, then explore Khmu villages in Ban Prang. Hike from Ban Prang to Ban Nam Khouy, foraging edible vegetation for a picnic lunch. Arrive at a Lahu village in time for sightseeing and enjoying sunset views.

    Note: No toilets, bathing in a nearby stream.

  • Day 2: Ban Nam Khouy-Forest Camp. Approx. 5-6 hours daily

    After breakfast, trek through the valley of Nam Ha NPA, stopping to forage and learn about herbs and wildlife. Experience untouched jungle, wildlife trails, and jungle survival skills. Camp in the ancient forest around 03:30pm.

  • Day 3: Forest Camp-Ban Nam Ha. Approx. 4-5 hours daily

    Early morning jungle safari or wildlife spotting, followed by a trek downhill to Nam Ha valley. Collect edible plants for a picnic lunch by the river. Continue trekking through open forests to Ban Nam Ha, where a driver will take you to Luang Namtha.
